ITINERARY IN BUENOS AIRES


DAY 1 Monday April 1 (L, D)
Full day City tour

This tour will give you the opportunity to learn about the History of Argentina and its culture.
We will explore the colorful La Boca area with its open arts fair, Boca Jrs. Stadium and its famous Caminito street.

Lunch at local restaurant.

At the Civic Center we will visit the Pink House, the Cabildo building (where the administration during the Spanish colony was), the Plaza de Mayo (Mayo Square) and the Metropolitan Cathedral. There we will see the homage that the Catholic Church made to the Jewish community. All these buildings surround the Plaza de Mayo (May Square). We will continue going through Mayo Avenue, where Tortoni café is located the, the oldest in town and to the House of Congress of Argentina. After lunch we will visit the cemetery of Recoleta, where the grave of Evita Perón is as well as most of the forefathers of Argentina. We will finish our tour visiting Puerto Madero, the newest district of Buenos Aires, built next to the River Plate. We will see the Woman Bridge, built by Santiago Calatrava.

DAY 2 Tuesday April 2 (B, L)
Full day Jewish tour + Chessed activity

VERY IMPORTANT: BRING YOUR ORIGINAL PASSPORTS WITH YOU

After breakfast, we will take a journey through the amazing past and present of the Jewish Community in Argentina.
Highlights of the itinerary:
- Israeli Embassy Memorial Plaza
- Once (On-Say) neighborhood (one of the most important Jewish quarters of Buenos Aires)
- AMIA Building (Jewish Community Center)
- Great Temple of Paso Street

Lunch at Kosher restaurant.

In the afternoon we will visit a Jewish institution for a Chessed activity.
This is a very important part of our itinerary, where you will have the opportunity to interact with the local Jewish community.
We strongly believe that this is what this trip is about: contribute, learn, giving and receiving, inspire and get inspired.

DAY 3 Wednesday APRIL 3 (B, L)

Full day tour at Delta of Tigre River with Capture of Eichmann tour + Jewish Argentine Experience

After breakfast we will visit the Delta of the Tigre River, which is located 30 km away from Buenos Aires. On our way to Tigre we will learn about the capture of Adolph Eichmann by the Mossad agents in 1960. We will see the lot where his house was located on Garibaldi Street in San Fernando district. At the delta will take a boat ride.

In the afternoon we will visit the “Port of fruits”.

Before lunch will enjoy an Argentine Experience, hosted by the local family. We are going to learn how to make empanadas, original food of Argentina. Lunch and singing with hazzan Pablo Duek.

DAY 4 Thursday APRIL 4 (B, L)
Full day at an Estancia (Argentinean ranch)

After breakfast, we will leave the hotel at 9.30am to spend an amazing day in the country-side at an Argentinean Estancia (estancia means ranch), where we will enjoy outdoor activities, horseback-riding and a Gaucho's skills show (Gaucho is an Argentinean cowboy).

DAY 5 Friday APRIL 5 (B, D)Teatro Colón (Opera House) + Jewish Museum of Buenos Aires - Temple Libertad + EVITA MUSEUM + Shabbat Service and dinner at NCI EMANUEL. 


We will start our day with a guided visit to the Teatro Colón, the Opera House of Buenos Aires, which owns one of the best acoustics in the world.

Then we will continue visiting the Jewish Museum of Buenos Aires and the Temple Libertad, the synagogue that belongs to the Israelite Congregation of the Argentinean Republic, the first Jewish Congregation in the country.

DAY 7 Sunday April 7 (B, D)
Guided visit to Casa Rosada (Government house of Argentina) + San Telmo neighborhood + Tango show and dinner

We will begin our day by visiting the Casa Rosada, the government house of Argentina.

Then, we will spend our day in San Telmo, the oldest neighborhood of Buenos Aires.


The Feria de San Telmo (San Telmo Antique Market) is one of the most notable events in Buenos Aires.Every Sunday locals and tourists fill up Defensa street and Plaza Dorrego to visit the
many stalls selling antiques, hand-made crafts and souvenirs. Historically, the market began with just antique sellers on Plaza Dorrego. Over time the street that connects the plaza with the city’s most important square, Plaza de Mayo, has become full of stalls too.
